GST Registration Services

GST (Goods and Services Tax) Registration is a process by which a taxpayer gets registered under the GST law. Once registered, a taxpayer is assigned a unique Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN). It is a crucial step for businesses to be recognized as a legal supplier of goods and services and to avail the benefits of input tax credit.

Service Providers: Any person or entity who provides service of more than Rs. 20 lakhs in aggregate turnover in a year is required to obtain GST registration. In special category states, the GST turnover limit for service providers has been fixed at Rs. 10 lakhs.

Goods Suppliers: As per notification No.10/2019 any person who is engaged in the exclusive supply of goods whose aggregate turnover crosses Rs. 40 lakhs

GST registration is mandatory for:

  1. Businesses with an annual turnover exceeding ₹20 lakhs or ₹40 lakhs, as the case may be, (₹10 lakhs for special category states).

  2. Individuals making inter-state supply of goods.

  3. E-commerce operators.

  4. Casual taxable persons.

  5. Non-resident taxable persons.

  6. Agents of a supplier.

  7. Input service distributors.

  8. Those paying tax under the reverse charge mechanism.

  9. Every e-commerce aggregator.

Sole proprietor / Individual

✓     Self-Attested Copy of PAN Card and Aadhaar Card

✓     Passport Size Photo of Proprietor

✓     Bank Account Details*

✓     Address Proof of place of Business**

Partnership firm (including LLP)

✓     Self-attested copy of PAN card of all partners.

✓     Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card of all partners.

✓     Copy of Partnership Deed/LLP Agreement.

✓     Passport Size Photo of all Partners

✓     In case of LLP-Registration Certificate and Board Resolution.

✓    Name of Authorised Signatory 

✓    Bank Account Details*

✓    Address Proof of Principal place of Business**

Hindu Undivided Family (HUF)

✓     Copy of PAN Card of HUF

✓     Self Attested copy of PAN Card of Karta

✓     Self Attested Copy of Aadhaar Card of Karta

✓     Passport Size Photo of Karta

✓     Bank Account Details*

✓     Address Proof of place of Business**

Company (Public and Private) (Indian and foreign)

  • PAN Card of Company
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • MOA & AOA of Company
  • Self-Attested Copy of PAN Card & Aadhaar Card of all Directors. (Mention the name of Indian Authorised Signatory)
  • Passport Size Photograph of all Directors.
  • Certified True Copy of Board resolution for GST Registration and appointment of Authorised Signatory.
  • Digital Signature Certificate.
  • Bank Account Details*

*Bank account details:

For bank account details, a copy of the cancelled cheque or an extract of the passbook /bank statement (containing the first and last page) must be uploaded. (in JPEG format / PDF format, maximum size – 100 KB)

**Address proof:

Provide any one of the following documents:

  1. Property tax receipt
  2. Municipal Khata copy
  3. Electricity bill copy
  4. Ownership deed/document (in the case of owned property)
  5. Lease / rent agreement (in case of leased / rented property) – To be submitted along with (a), (b) or (c)
  6. Consent letter / NOC from the owner (in case of consent arrangement or shared property) – To be submitted along with (a), (b) or (c)
